Principle of the game

The game of BBR 9 BALL US is played with the cue ball and nine ball-objects numbered from 1 to 9. To score points, the numbered balls must be pocketed using the cue ball in ascending numerical order. (Except for the FREE BALL see below)

The object of the game is to reach 50 points. There are no pocket announcements. Each legally pocketed ball is worth 1 point except ball 9 which is worth 2 points for a total of 10 points maximum per rack.

Arrangement of balls with a triangle or a Magic Ball Rack

When playing BBR 9 BALL, the ball corresponding to the number of the "rack" played is the one placed on the spot with the ball 9 in the center (except at the ninth "rack" where it is the 9 on the spot and the 1 in the center)

Example: In “rack” number 3, the ball 3 will be the one placed on the spot in first position with the 9 in the center of the balls. The remaining balls are placed randomly.

From the 11th rack, we come back to ball 1 on the spot, rack 12: ball 2 etc ...

The heist of the BBR 9 BALL game

The player who has been designated by the random system will automatically be selected to play each rack first.

The junkyard player begins with a ball in hand behind the starting line. For a breakage to be legal, the white must first touch the object ball corresponding to the “rack” played (placed in an advanced rack, ie the new ball on the spot) before contacting any other ball. In addition, we use the rule of 2 balls, this means that if the player uses a classic triangle to make the rack, this rule does not apply. If the technique used to glue the balls is the marking of the mat or a triangle of the Magic rack type for example, the rule of 2 balls applies. At the breakage, at least 2 marbles must have been pocketed or crossed the starting line (kitchen). The case is valid if:

If the 9 is ejected, it is placed back on the spot. If the 9 is pocketed during a legal breakage, it is returned to the spot. If a fault is committed at the breakage and the 9 ball is pocketed, it is returned to the spot. If the spot is occupied by another ball, it will be replaced on the spot on the other side of the table. If the latter is also occupied, position 9 in the center of the table (as precisely as possible). If the white is pocketed or ejected from the playing area during the break, the player will then score 0 points and the hand will pass to his opponent. All the balls pocketed at the breakage are counted. If the player does not enter balls, he still retains the hand without any impact. In the event of a white pocketed or scrapping the table, the player loses the hand and scores 0 points for this rack.It is his opponent's turn to play.

AFTER THE BREAKAGE

Immediately after the breakage, the game continues according to the following rules:

FREE BALL

The player can pocket as the first ball after breaking the ball of his choice. He is obliged to return a marble to keep his hand. This ball will then be counted unless it is the ball numbered 9. In this case, it will be put back on the breakage spot. If the spot is occupied by another ball, it will be replaced on the spot on the other side of the table. If the latter is also occupied, position 9 in the center of the table (as precisely as possible).

After having pocketed the FREE BALL the player must then pocket the balls in ascending numerical order. He must not call a pocket and he can pocket balls by combination as long as he contacts the ball with the lowest number on the table first. If the player pockets the 9 by combination it will be put back on the breakage spot. If the spot is occupied by another ball, it will be replaced on the spot on the other side of the table. If the latter is also occupied, position 9 in the center of the table (as precisely as possible). The player must continue to play as long as he pockets balls each time counting 1 point per pocketed ball except the 9 which is worth 2 points.

The same number of racks must be played by both players

In this situation, victory will be granted by "sudden death".

Sudden death :

Each player plays an additional “rack”. The best score wins. In the event of a tie, they start again until they decide to decide.

The BBR 10 BALL US game is played with the white ball and ten object balls numbered from 1 to 10. To score points, the numbered balls must be pocketed using the white ball in ascending numerical order. (Except for the FREE BALL see below)

The object of the game is to reach 50 points. There is no pocket advertisement like the game of 9 but with 10 balls. Each legally pocketed ball is worth 1 point for a total of 10 points maximum per rack.

The game of BBR 8 BALL US is played with 15 object balls numbered from 1 to 15. The balls from 1 to 7 (the full ones), the balls from 9 to 15 (the striped ones). The fifteenth ball is ball number 8 which is black. This ball must be pocketed after having pocketed its entire group of balls, solid or scratched as appropriate.

The object of the game is to reach 50 points. To score points you have to pocket the balls of a group determined by the player's choice after the breakage. Each legally pocketed ball is worth 1 point. The black ball is worth 3 points.

In order to determine which player will have to break first. Players will use the random system available to them in the game interface. The player who wins the random system will automatically be selected to play first. The breakage will be alternated thereafter.

The junkyard player begins with a ball in hand in the starting area. No ball is imposed, you can break on any ball in the triangle. After having broken, the player can choose his group (full or crossed out) and must imperatively announce it aloud to his opponent. At least four balls must contact one or more bands under penalty of illegal breakage. In case of invalid breakage the player can start over once without penalty. If he then achieves a second invalid break, the hand will automatically pass to his opponent and the player will score 0 points for this “rack”.

Ball-objects other than the black ball ejected at the break from the surface of the table are not put back into play but counted.

Course of the game

After the breakage, the game continues according to the following rules. The player has no ball in hand. On his first stroke and only at that moment of the game, the player has the possibility of playing a ball from one colored group to enter a ball from the other group (eg: He announces his choice to take the striped ones. can on his first stroke play a full ball to get a striped ball in. He therefore has stripes and must continue playing as long as he regularly pockets the balls of his group choice up to the black ball). 1 point per pocketed ball and 3 points for the black ball.

Any fault committed after the breakage or any missed ball automatically stops the player's turn. If the black ball is pocketed during the game before the player has returned all the balls in his group, the player scores 0 points for this rack. The first player to reach 50 points wins the match.

Two players can therefore reach 50 points with the same number of “racks”.
In this situation, the victory will then be granted by "sudden death".

Sudden death

Each player plays an additional rack. Whoever achieves the highest score wins the match. If there is a tie again they start again until they are tied.
